The book was commissioned by Creative Partnerships and published by the Arts Council. It grew out of a range of creative projects which have taken place since 2002 part of Creative Partnerships the Black Country. Creative Partnerships is a government funded national initiative, established to realise pupils’ full potential by developing their natural creativity. Creative Partnerships originally worked with 24 schools in Wolverhampton, Sandwell and Walsall and many feature in this publication. The book is not a case study, but aims to crystallise the ingredients needed to run a successful creative project. Rosemary Hill and Gordon Lamont were co-authors on this project.
