“In the long history of humankind (and animal kind, too) those who learned to collaborate and improvise most effectively have prevailed”
Despite the fact that there are 250,000 primary middle leaders in schools, there has been very little research on what they do and how effective they are. Middle Leaders are the “life blood” of any school. They make many things happen. Without them the school wouldn’t function. This ninety minute DVD was commissioned by the National College for School Leadership and the Innovation Unit. It looks at how middle leaders and head teachers work together in six excellent but very different schools in the UK. We were the executive producers working with the DCSF and the Innovation Unit.
