The “Identities” project is a national programme which aims to give a voice to diverse communities across the generations. The heart and soul of the project is the production of film and moving image content focussed on identity and memory in birth, childhood, adolescence, adulthood and future vision. This living collection will form part of a national repository accessible in many formats and linked to an international e learning and show casing platform. The project is also aimed at nurturing and developing new and aspiring film makers. In partnership with artworks-mk we were the executive producers for eighteen films. For six of these films we worked with the Living Archive. Further films were made with other independent film makers and film workshops were also run with students from Stantonbury Campus. The film shown here “Who Am I” is by Elliot Willis and is a dramatised poem, written and performed by Elsie Srodah.
